and collectibles trade in eight Midwestern states, responsibilities

News" from a variety of sources; conducting photo shoots for article
illustrations; preparing features, columns and event calendars for print
and online production; overseeing monthly print and online production.
Also initiated and performed the majority of coding for a complete redesign
of the publication's Web site to improve navigation, usability, and
performance.

As
the only editorial resource on a cross-functional application and Web
site design team, responsibilities included content development, features,
and technical editing. Responsible for creating the corporate style
guide and developing company editorial processes. Project managed and
edited monthly customer email updates and actively participated in site
usability testing. Coordinated with marketing staff to develop content
and with designers to integrate content with the site look-and-feel.
Supervised off-site contract contributors and edited, HTML coded, and
published their weekly columns to the site. Monitored site content for
editorial consistency of brand personality and voice.

Prepared
articles and profiles for production. Compiled, edited, and project
managed monthly newsletters for members and sponsors. Developed new
features including "Web Extras" and "FM Exchanges" to better serve
subscribers and boost site traffic. Supervised in-house editorial
staff and freelance writers/designers. Coded journal content posted
